Tennis Match - Poem

November 18, 2018

As I mentioned in my introduction video, I enjoy writing poems in my spare time. I have decided to write one for my next blog:

I step onto the battle field,

The tennis ball my weapon and my racket a shield.

I want the crown, yes I do,

But my opponent across the net wants it too.

Who’s the best today, we shall see,

I will compete, I will not flee.

I serve a bomb into the box,

A smirk across my face like a sly fox.

My confidence is rising up,

She better keep her head up.

Championship point, there you are,

I hit a ball that leaves a scar.

Today the focus was very vital,

For I am the one who won the title.
